Postdoctoral Associate
Position Summary:The Department of Earth and Planetary Sciences is seeking a Postdoctoral Associate to begin January 2020, who is interested in the microbe-mineral interactions, geobiology, and the co-evolution of the geosphere and biosphere. The best suited candidate will be expected to have expertise in geomicrobiology, isotope geochemistry, and microbial genetics. This candidate will be expected to participate in the configuration and maintenance of instrumentation necessary for conduct of the project. It is expected that research will lead to publications and will be expected to prepare manuscripts as well as contribute to the preparation of grant and fellowship applications.
