The Institute of Geological Sciences (IfG: www.geo.unibe.ch) at the Faculty of Science of the University of Bern is looking to hire a person who will build a versatile research program in rock-water interaction processes, from the upper crust to the shallow subsurface, using an analytical and/or experimental approach. The candidate is expected to collaborate with the existing third-party funded research team at the IfG on the topics of reactive transport, nuclear waste disposals, geo-energy or carbon sequestration, as well as with industry and government partners. Candidates need to show a track record of academic excellence and leadership qualities. Candidates should hold a PhD in Earth Sciences or related field.
