A Ph.D. graduate assistantship in Soil Biogeochemistry is available immediately in the Department of Ecosystem Science and Management at the University of Wyoming, Laramie, WY, USA.
The student will work on biogenic manganese oxides and their interactions with metals and organic matter. The research will utilize advanced synchrotron X-ray techniques. The ideal candidate will have a MS degree in soil science, geochemistry/geology, environmental science and engineering with a strong background and interest in geochemical and mineralogical processes.
